SWISS AIR FLIGHT 111 COVERUP STARTS TO UNRAVEL

A break in at the offices of the Chief Executive of Swissair in Zurich
on the night of Oct. 11-12, may represent an attempt to stall the
release of the Swissair Flight 111 crash report.  According to Neue
Zurcher Zeitung, Switzerland's leading establishment daily, the police
are investigating whether the burglary was an attempt to steal the
report of the crash, which occurred under mysterious circumstances Sept.
2.

Meanwhile, on Oct 13, the day after the break in, Guido Hirni, a crash
investigator for the Swiss federal aviation safety board, was killed
when his helicopter crashed.  While it is not known whether Hirni was
directly involved in the investigation, he was involved in briefing the
press on the crash.

As reported in EIR Oct. 16, Richard Tomlinson, a British MI6 agent,
whose whereabouts are now unknown, had been booked on Flight 111 but
never showed.  EIR's report also detailed how Flight 111 could have been
the target of a bomb attack.
