                                               Two of the paps argue with a policeman just after the accident.

                                           Unidentified men hover around the mercedes.  Are two of these men the "volunteer
                                    firemen" named in the Stephan report?  And why does the Stephan report refuse
                                    to give the name of one of the volunteer firemen?  Was he in fact an operative of
                                    some kind?  Perhaps part of the intervention team?

                                           Presumably at this stage our good Dr. Mailliez has arrived.  With the paps screaming
                                    "It's Diana!" and blinding her with photo flashes, with hordes of passersby looking
                                    on, with the police and the paps arguing with one another, how can any sane person
                                    buy Mailliez's contention he didn't know it was Diana?  And if he did recognize Diana
                                    and for unknown reasons doesn't want to reveal it, what else is he hiding?  Did Diana
                                    tell him she was pregnant?

                    Notice the scratches clearly visible on the backend of the merc, giving rise to speculation that once the
                       "flash gun" was fired into Henri Paul's eyes, blinding him, the turbo-charged, heavily-weighted Fiat Uno
                       then rammed the merc from behind, forcing it into the 13th pillar.
